Also a note about the beginning: the call and response ("Ready!?" and "Not yet!!") is part of the game of hide and seek in Japanese. When the seeker finishes counting, they say 「もういいかい？」 ("Ready!?") and if one of the hiders hasn't found a hiding spot yet, they say 「まあだだよ！」 ("Not yet!!").
