Sign of Immaturity (半人前の印)By Nishiurawa in "Modern Hyakumonogatari: Kowai Hanashi"
This story involves a wrestling dojo in the outskirts of Tokyo.
This particular dojo has a practice ring as well as a lodge for its students. Several scary stories have originated from it.
To provide easy access while practicing, the dojo's washroom and toilet are located right by the ring. Because of this, in order to get to the toilet from the lodge, you have to cut through the side of the ring.
"N", who was new at the time, woke up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet. That day the other members had traveled for a tournament so he was alone in the dojo.
Because he had heard rumors about ghosts from them, going through the dojo at night was a little scary. But there was no way he could hold it.
N suppressed his fear and hurried, passing through the ring, into the bathroom.
He finished his business and came out of the bathroom. There was someone in the ring.
He strained his eyes and saw a boy wearing a t-shirt and shorts, clutching his knees and staring right at him. That pale and transparent figure was obviously not of this world.
N ran back into the bathroom and stayed there until it was light out.
A few days later he was talking to the other members about it.
They told him, "if you see the boy you're still immature. But if you see a girl standing in the entrance, you're a real man!" and burst out laughing.
It's been a few years since then. Sadly, N still hasn't seen the girl.
